Hateful words do not inspire love or respect.
“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves.” -Matthew 10:16
For a bunch of people who call yourselves Christians, I am in no way, shape, or form, seeing the love of Christ shining through a vast majority of all y’all.
It’s not about popularity, or attaining the coveted leadership roles. It’s about LOVE. Loving the Lord your God, and in turn loving your neighbor as yourself.
And people wonder why “Christians” get a bad rap....
Dear Peers,
Don’t compromise yourself and your morals just because you’re in college and you want to be ‘cool.’ Your integrity and self-respect are more lasting and worthwhile than brief acceptance by all the wrong people.
I think I’m growing up.
Scary thought.
